Abstract

This research is motivated by the demands of the digital era, which require educators to integrate technology with learning materials, particularly in science and studies learning in elementary schools. This study aims to analyze students' learning needs based on technological content knowledge (TCK) in science and studies learning at SD Negeri 07 Koba. The study used a qualitative method through a descriptive approach. The study population was 124 students in phase B, with four educators and 24 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that students require the support of visual media, real-world practice, and the use of technology to help them understand science and studies. The use of technology-based media such as video, animation, and interactive images helps students understand difficult material, increases learning engagement, and fosters learning motivation. Conversely, learning without technology support results in students being less active and having difficulty understanding the material. Limited technological resources hinder the optimal implementation of TCK. Therefore, TCK integration is necessary to support science and science learning, making it more concrete and meaningful for students.
