Abstract

In the context of modern life, leadership is often driven by a pursuit of power, popularity, media image, and economic or political interests, causing the aspect of moral exemplarity to be frequently overlooked. This study aims to analyze the concept of *uswatun hasanah* (exemplary leadership) as a fundamental pillar of daily life. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing a library research method that involved examining relevant Islamic literature, books, and scholarly journals. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify the core values within the *uswatun hasanah* concept and their relevance to contemporary leadership practices. The findings indicate that *uswatun hasanah* leadership—grounded in qualities such as honesty, trustworthiness, intelligence, effective communication, fairness, patience, and compassion—is capable of fostering public trust and loyalty. A leader's exemplary conduct, speech, and lifestyle serve as a proven foundation for shaping the social, moral, and spiritual behavior of their followers. Thus, *uswatun hasanah* leadership not only contributes to organizational effectiveness but also cultivates individuals who are morally and emotionally resilient in the face of modern life's challenges.
