This study was motivated by the low ability of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Beremas in presenting observation report texts. Students experienced difficulties in organizing words, were not yet able to deliver the content orally in a clear manner, and tended to read the text without prior speaking practice. As a result, when presenting in front of the class, students relied more on reading than speaking fluently. This study aimed to describe students’ ability to present observation report texts in terms of linguistic and non-linguistic aspects. This research employed a quantitative approach using a descriptive method. The sample consisted of 29 students. The data were in the form of scores representing students’ ability to present observation report texts. The findings revealed that the average ability of students was categorized as more than adequate, with a mastery level of 69.37%. The highest average score was obtained in pronunciation accuracy (71.26), while the lowest was in stress placement (42.84). Overall, both linguistic and non-linguistic aspects still need improvement, particularly in audience targeting, diction, fluency, topic mastery, as well as appropriate expressions and gestures.
